It's a great sun hat and a decent rain hat as well, and is dressy enough to wear with "good" clothes. I also have a Tilley Nylamtium hat which I love, but it's not as dressy as this one. This one goes anywhere and looks good with anything!If you like the shape of this hat but really want to cut glare, go for the darker color. The hat puckered because the stitching of the material from top of hat to the brim had different lengths causing the pucker and the tabs around the hat were not equal distant and some were not sewn on straight causing the hat to look cockeyed when it is on your head. Rodeo Beach did not want to deal with exchanging the hat because they called it a manufactures defect, and to take it up with Tilley Endurables. When I contacted them, they were very accommodating about replacing the return with another hat and that they will reimburse the the shipping. However, when I followed up with them, Tilley said the problems I had with the hat is not considered a manufacturing defect... Read more |
